  • I’m Niall Doherty, an AI automator and developer.
  • I’ve earned my living online for 15+ years, doing the writing, SEO, and email myself, and increasingly the automation and AI tooling underneath.
  • These days most of my time goes into building marketing and sales systems: AI-assisted content pipelines, outbound tooling, the internal plumbing that lets a small team do the work of a much bigger one. I ship most days, usually with Claude Code.
  • I do my best work as the technical half of a partnership: a founder or marketing lead owns the strategy, and I design, build, and run the machine that executes it.
  • The project I’m best known for is eBiz Facts, a research site and newsletter I started in 2018. I grew the list past 33,000 subscribers and built it into a real business, and I now run its content operation with AI doing the heavy lifting while I direct and edit.
  • Along the way I’ve been quoted as an industry expert by NBC News and written up in The Irish Times, among others (see below).
  • A bit of backstory: I studied Multimedia and IT in Ireland, then spent a few years as a web designer in New Orleans (I moved there for a basketball obsession and somehow left with an ESPN media credential).
  • I went out on my own in 2010, and for 44 months I traveled the world without flying — 37 countries, three oceans — writing a couple of books along the way about thinking for yourself and doing work that matters.
  • I’ve since settled in the mountains of Andorra.
